THE COMPANY

Founded in 2003, Fertilizantes Tocantins is strategically located in the areas of greatest agricultural growth in Brazil: North, Northeast, Midwest and ​Southeast. FTO saw double-digit sales growth for eight consecutive years, with fertilizer sales surpassing the 1,800,000-ton mark delivered in 2018, being the fastest-growing fertilizer company in Brazil.

Currently, FTO has a corporate office located in Goiânia-GO and eight production units located in the cities of Porto Nacional-TO, São Luís-MA, Querência-MT, Barcarena-PA, Sinop-MT, Catalão-GO, Rondonópolis -MT and Araguari-MG, the latter being inaugurated in June 2019.

In August 2016, EuroChem acquired the shareholding control of the company, initiating yet another cycle of expansion of units, services and products, assuming FTO a prominent position in the fertilizer market.

EUROCHEM

EuroChem is one of the largest groups in the global fertilizer segment, and is a major producer of Nitrogenates, Phosphates and Specialty Products. The group is currently commissioning two Potash mines in Russia in the Volgakaliy and Usolskiy regions. The projects will have large production capacity and in a few years EuroChem will become one of the world’s largest producers and suppliers of potassium. Headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, the group operates production and distribution facilities on several continents and employs more than 23,000 people worldwide.
